
Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA)
CORA is the only agency in San Mateo County solely dedicated to helping those affected by intimate partner abuse. From counseling, to emergency housing, to legal assistance, their services are designed to provide safety, support, and healing.

Some of CORA's services include:

Crisis Intervention Services providing a 24-hour Crisis Hotline, an Emergency Response Program, and safe houses for survivors of intimate partner abuse.
Family Support Services with a Supportive Housing Program, family-centered mental health programs, and a Children’s Program that focuses intensively on helping children heal from exposure to intimate partner abuse.
Legal Services program that provides a Legal Information Line, helps with Restraining Orders, and provides Court Accompaniment.
Raising Intimate Partner Abuse Awareness in the local community
Offering Community Outreach. They run an extensive volunteer program and educate volunteers about intimate partner abuse.

LifeMoves
LifeMoves is a nonprofit that aims to provide support and housing for those experiencing homelessness in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Some of LifeMove's services include:

Residential Services Programs providing interim shelter along with food, clothing, household necessities, case management, and supportive services to help homeless families rapidly return to stable housing. They have 17 shelter locations around the Bay Area.
Single Adult Services providing shelter, food, clothing, and intensive case management to rapidly return adult clients to stable housing.
Veteran Services offering specialized programs and services to address the specific needs of the veteran community.
Community Outreach Programs educating volunteers and the community about homelessness and how to help those experiencing it.
